Nintendo 3DS playing 3D movies

I was quite interested when they announced this at E3 but Im wondering what form this will take.

Will they movies be -

Digital - so we download them from the 3DS shop.
Physical - We buy them from the shop like PSP's UMD videos

or maybe both?

They will probably be digital because Nintendo said they were gonna up their digital distribution so it will probably be from the 3DS virtual store, which sucks majorly because I don't like downloading stuff from the DS  :-\

With this new info about the 8gb cartridges there is a chance they could be physical.

Surely they don't need 8gb just for a movie???  :o

Nintendo like to include lots of people in their target audience so they're probably be both physical and digital.

Physical would be a dangerous road to go down especially if they aren't cheap. People would rather buy a Blu ray 3d disc and watch it on a big screen than watch it on a small 3ds screen.
